Background

Charles Johnson’s relationship with the University of the Cumberlands began in 1988 with his gift to the Mountain Outreach Program. His interest in other programs quickly grew. He understood the needs of Appalachian students and wanted to assist with programs he felt most passionate about.

Career

During his lifetime, Mr. Johnson worked hard and enjoyed a career in the U.S., dedicating his energy to helping students achieve their dreams.
