Not Sure How to Begin Planning?
Your Gift = Their Future
Moira O’Malley
I chose UC for its excellent education program and my positive childhood experiences visiting my older
sister who attended. As an elementary education major with an emphasis in special education, my goal
is to teach overseas with the Department of Defense Education Activity, allowing me to give back to the
military community that supported me as a child. I’m incredibly grateful for your generous scholarship
that allows me to focus on my academics and for all the opportunities I've been provided. Thank you!

I decided to attend University of the Cumberlands because of its small size and Christian values. My
passion for computers has led me to major in information technology sciences, and I plan to pursue a
master's degree. I extend my sincere gratitude to donors for creating a wonderful campus and a
supportive environment where I can thrive both academically and spiritually.

Initially I was drawn to Cumberlands for athletics, but I ultimately fell in love with the campus and its
welcoming environment. I'm currently pursuing my passion for nursing, with a career goal of giving back
to my parents for all they've provided. I'm incredibly grateful to our donors for giving me the
opportunity to attend college. Thank you so much!
