The giving circles at University of the Cumberlands uniquely acknowledge the generosity of our most dedicated donors who have demonstrated a commitment in moving the university’s goals forward.  Membership is open to all contributors—alumni, parents, friends, faculty, staff, & community—who make an annual or legacy investment to University of the Cumberlands.  Members are invited to exclusive events, have distinctive recognition, and receive regular communication about the impact of their contribution on our students, campus, and community.

The 1888 Society

The 1888 Society honors the individuals and families who choose to invest in Cumberlands with testamentary commitments in their estate plans or made planned gifts, such as charitable remainder gift annuities or trusts, with the remainder assigned to Cumberlands.  We invite you to create your own impactful legacy and help future generations of students realize their potential.  If you have already named University of the Cumberlands in your will or trust, please let our team know so we can honor your investment wishes and thank you for your generosity.  If you are currently giving at this level, you are automatically included in these inaugural giving circles.
